Bonjour! Hej! Hallo! ¡Hola! 🌍
Plannie now speaks English, Swedish, German, Spanish and French, on every screen and in every reminder it sends you. If your family has been planning the week in one language while reading English menus, this update is for you. :earth_africa:
The languages
- :flag_gb: :flag_us: English, with a choice of UK or US spelling
- :flag_se: Svenska
- :flag_de: Deutsch
- :flag_es: Español
- :flag_fr: Français
Where it works
The whole app is translated, on iPhone, iPad and the web: the calendar, tasks, lists, meal planning, habits, settings and the welcome screens you see on day one. Push notifications and emails from Plannie arrive in your language too, so the reminder about tomorrow's dentist appointment reads the way you'd say it, and so does the nudge about whose turn it is to empty the dishwasher. Dates, times and weekday names follow along.
The website comes in the same five languages: plannie.io/sv, plannie.io/de, plannie.io/es and plannie.io/fr.
Nothing to set up
Plannie follows the language of your phone or tablet. If you'd rather use another one, open Settings → General → Language and pick it. Everyone in the family chooses for themselves, so a Swedish parent, a German grandparent and kids who prefer English can share the same family hub and each see it in their own language. On a shared family tablet in Kiosk mode, the language you pick applies to that screen for the whole household.
Spotted a clumsy phrase?
If a word makes you wince, or you'd like Plannie in a language we don't have yet, tell us right here on the feedback portal. We read everything. Our help articles are still in English for now.
