Launch-week polish: tidier settings, fairer plan switches ✨

Fresh from the workshop: a big round of polish across the whole app, just in time for launch week. Settings got a tidy-up, switching plans got fairer, and everyone can now take a peek at Family Inbox. Here's what changed. 🧽✨

Settings, decluttered

The reorganized Settings — Family & access right below General, Reminders now inside Calendar

We reorganized the Settings sidebar around how families actually use it: Family & access now sits right below General (it's where you go most), and reminder preferences moved into Settings → Calendar, so everything about your calendar lives in one place.

Fairer plan switches

Upgrading to Plannie Premium now happens instantly — and you only pay the prorated difference for the rest of your billing period. Downgrades take effect at your next renewal, so you always keep what you've paid for. No surprises, no double-charging, no fine print gymnastics.

A peek into Family Inbox

Family Inbox — the email address that turns school newsletters into calendar events — is now visible to everyone, including families on the free plan. You can see your family's address and how it works; choosing or changing it unlocks with Premium. (Reminder: everything is free until August 30, so now's a great time to try it!)

And a whole lot of polish

Smoother scrolling throughout the app, avatar uploads fixed on web, cleaner onboarding copy, and snack rows in the meal planner that stay out of your way until you want them (turn extra snack slots on anytime in Settings → Meals).

That's it for this round — more soon. Spot something off? Tell us right here on the feedback portal. 💌
